As we've reported many times, ICE has been deployed where they have created a situation and now they're going in to try to fix it for a show of strength. We pontificate that at some point they want to declare martial law so that they can stop the midterm elections. But you have plainclothes ICE agents, and it's important to remember they are in plainclothes with masks, not identifying themselves.
This is what was going on yesterday in California:
I presume they want to round up migrants now, not criminals, because they're not going after criminals. They're going after anybody with brown skin who may have an accent because they are doing this because they're cruel and racist, and then they're sending them to you know, Alligator Alcatraz or El Salvador.
They're not providing any due process to these people and to up to 80 to 85% of these people have no violent criminal history.
It is so disturbing.
Gavin Newsom, who has really risen to the moment, this is what he had to say in response to this type of absolute political theater disgrace:
“What's happening in MacArthur Park? What's theater on the six month anniversary after all of these fires? That's the message from the polluted heart of the president of the United States, a polluted heart of Stephen Miller.
Those National Guard men and women that were out there protecting people are now being used as political pawns out there on horseback, running through soccer fields in the middle of the day, timed around announcements and events like this. Says everything you and I need to know about the state of mind of the president of the United States in this administration.
So to those that feel torn asunder by everything that's happened over the course of the last six months, notably highlighted and reinforced last six weeks, and over the course, the last 60 minutes a day like today, I want folks to know we have your back and we'll continue to come back and do what we can to protect our diverse communities, to protect the spirit that defines the best of this city and our state, and to push back against this cruelty, to push back against this cruelty that has been perpetuated by the president of the United States.”
It's the abject cruelty that these MAGA triple Trumpers, that's what they like. They thought it was fine that Kristi Noem shot her dog. That was not disqualifying in their minds because they hate what Kristi Noem hates, which is black and brown people.
These people have been so programmed and propagandized that they have made immigrants lower than humans in their mind.
They're willing to send human beings without due process who are not criminals, tear them away from their families and send them to possibly get eaten by alligators, or go to a concentration camp in El Salvador and they're fucking selling merch.
They're giddy about it because they like the cruelty, because they have made these people less than human in their mind.
